This magnificent fine sandy beach is located right on the main promenade of Fuengirola, Los Boliches is a small town that is noted for being very reasonably priced.
The Beach of Los Boliches is maintained as one of the most attractive for visitors of the Costa del Sol.
Being a town dedicated to tourism is not surprisin that each summer it receives the prized distinction of "Blue Flag" thanks to the high quality, cleanliness and services offered.
On the beach
The Beach of Los Boliches is situated between the Beach of Las Gaviotas and the Beach of Fuengirola (all within the municipality of Fuengirola). It is an urban beach, flanked by a promenade that runs through the town. Its fine, dark sand is highly appreciated by its visitors both tourists and residents alike. Many Spaniards from the likes of Cordoba choose to holiday here.
The beach has clean and transparent waters. Albeit a little cold for some holiday makers, caused by the currents that arrive from the Straits of Gibraltar. However, you can make use of the many sporting facilities, such as play Beach Volleyball after which taking a swim will be enhanced by those few degrees less!
As a curious fact, right at the entrance of the beach there is a monument to the former national currency in spain: The Peseta.
