FAIR OF TOSTÓN (OJÉN). Date: 5 of November.
XXV edition of the “Tostón popular” of Ojén (Málaga)

Ojén celebrated on the first Sunday of November, the Fiesta del Tostón, which has its origin in the days of collection of the chestnut in the landscape of Juanar and The Port. Then, the families and especially groups of young people, went to the 1 of November to spend a day in the field, where you will taste roasted chestnuts, accompanied by brandy. Currently, this party no longer lives in the field, but in the streets of the town.

FEAST OF THE RABBIT (PARAUTA). DATE: November 11, 2017

Parauta devotes an entire day to get to know one of the products which formed a fundamental basis of their traditional cuisine.
Residents of the village prepared dishes by following various recipes with the rabbit as the protagonist, which can be accompanied by sweet wine and, then, with a tasting of sweets. In addition, they organize an open-air dances, performances of verdiales and flamenco.

FAIR OF THE HAM (CAMPILLOS). DATE: November 12.

The central and flagship park José María Hinojosa is converted every year into a market for ham and pork products. Exhibitors from different points of Andalusia come each year to Campillos, to offer their products (meat, cured meats, sausages, cheeses, traditional sweets, olive oil,..). The day is complemented with parallel activities organized around the fair, as a show of explanation, proceedings of pandas de verdiales and children’s workshops.

DAYS MYCOLOGICAL (CORTES DE LA FRONTERA). DATE: from 24 to 26 November.

Mycological Days have been Cuts of the Border has established itself as one of the gastronomic events are most popular in the province. For several days are organized guided tours through the forests of the area, with the aim of
collecting mushrooms; some of the species so sought after as the egg yolk,
the tickets, the chantarela, mushroom of thistle, the milk caps or trumpet of the dead.
Once picked, the mushrooms, offers a tasting of the same cooked in a tent installed for this purpose. In addition, there are other activities such as exhibitions of mushrooms, workshops, grading, and conferences.

FEAST OF THE GRAPE MUST (ATAJATE). DATE: November 25,

Atajate recovers to its great wine tradition with the Fiesta del Mosto. Coinciding with the end of the harvest, the last Saturday of November, the square of the town hosts a festival that lasts until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, every family offers wine newly fermented, accompanied by one of the most typical dishes of the area and always linked with the same, crumbs.

DAY OF THE CHANFAINA (TOTALÁN). DATE: November 26,

The chanfaina is the typical dish par excellence of the town axárquica. Made of potatoes, oil, vinegar, spices (oregano, bay leaf and saffron) and, depending on the variety, with offal or blood sausages in slices. Every last Sunday of November, in addition to taste this dish, you can enjoy an extensive program of activities: pandas de verdiales, dance with orchestra, exhibitions of old farming tools and the delivery of the Prizes chanfaina, granted by the city council of prominent figures of the province.
