Popular fairs, festivals of moors and christians, tasting food, or water party and foam, are any events planned on the calendar of August, in the province of Malaga. The fair of El Morche
From 11 to 15 August

The fair de El Morche will start this Friday with the traditional Night of the Eve, and which extended until the next Tuesday, day 15 of August.

Fair of San Miguel and Santa Maria of the Sea in the oasis of Banjondillo
Until the 12 of August

The Oasis of Bajondillo Beach will host the celebration of the fair of San Miguel and Santa María del Mar organized by the parish of the same name, the 11th and 12th of August starting at 20.30 hours. On both Friday and Saturday, the celebration will last until 2.00 in the night with concerts, activities and a bar with food and drinks at popular prices whose proceeds will go to the headquarters of Caritas in Torremolinos. Contest World of Ham Popi
From the 10th to the 15th of August

Water festival
August 13,

The culmination of the festivities of Jimera de Líbar, a charming villa in malaga located in the Guadiaro Valley, is made with a great tasting dining, popularly known as the Chorizada. From 16 to 20

The Fair of Antequera, declared a Fiesta of National Tourist Interest, is divided into the “Fair” and “Fair Night”. 24 to 27 August.

On 25 and 26 August

To the south of the Sierra de las Nieves, near Marbella, is celebrated on the last weekend of August, the historical re-enactment known as the Rebellion Moorish. The location of this dramatization is the village of Istan, situated in the valley of the Green river. Douglas’ Days
25 to 27 August

One of the episodes most curious of the history of the old Al-Andalus and it came to pass in the siege of the castle of Teba on the part of the christian troops. In that siege there was a scottish nobleman, who was accompanied by a group of faithful fellow-countrymen. It was sir James Douglas, the right hand of king Robert I. Market Sailor
From 25 to 28 August

Torre del Mar will host a Market Sailor, organized by the company Rake of Cultures with the collaboration of the Tenure of Mayor of Torre del Mar, which will be held in the Paseo Larios of the town, where they will participate about 50 stalls will offer all kinds of crafts with thematic seafaring to all residents and visitors of the town.
